Zhaohui Yang

Zhaohui Yang is currently a ZJU Young Professor with the Zhejiang Key Lab oratory of Information Processing Communication and Networking, College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University. He received the Bachelor and Ph.D. degrees from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2014 and 2018, respectively. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Center for Telecommunications Research, Department of Informatics, King’s College London, U.K. From 2020 to 2022, he was a Research Fellow at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University College London, U.K. His research interests include joint communication, sensing, and computation, federated learning, and semantic communication. He received IEEE Communications Society Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award in 2024, IEEE Communications Society Leonard G. Abraham Prize Award in 2024, IEEE Computer Society Best Paper Award of IEEE Open Journal of the Computer Society in 2024, IEEE Marconi Prize Paper Award in 2023, IEEE Katherine Johnson Young Author Paper Award in 2023. He currently serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE TGCN, IEEE CL, IEEE TMLCN. He has served as a Guest Editor for several journals including IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications.
