Xuelin Cao
Xidian University
Dr. Cao Xuelin obtained her Ph.D. from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2019. From 2010 to 2012, she served as an engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks. She conducted research at the University of Houston, USA, from 2017 to 2020. Subsequently, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Singapore University of Technology and Design from 2020 to 2023. She is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Cyber Engineering, Xidian university. Her primary research areas include 5G/6G, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, edge computing, and artificial intelligence.
Talk Title: RIS-Aided Multiple Access: Design, Optimization, and Applications
The report primarily explores the design, optimization, and applications of RIS-aided multiple Access. First, it investigates the design and analysis of RIS-aided multiple access protocols. Second, it proposes an AI-based optimization method for RIS-aided multiple access protocols. Finally, it investigates the application of RIS-aided multiple access protocols across various scenarios and discusses emerging research directions in this field.
