Bo Yang
Northwestern Polytechnical University

Bo Yang is currently a Professor with the School of Computer Science, Northwestern Polytechnical University. His research focuses on application of artificial intelligence (AI) for wireless comunications and computing. He received the Ph.D. degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2016. From October 2017 to January 2020, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), a member of Texas A&M University System, Prairie View, TX, USA. From February 2020 to April 2022, he was a Research Fellow with the Engineering Product Development Pillar, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore. He received NNSF for Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program (Overseas) in 2021, the Best Paper Award of CCF CWSN 2023 and the Best Student Paper Award in IEEE VTC-2025 Spring. He is IEEE Senior Member, CCF/AAIA Member, he serves Associate Editor for SN Computer Science and Track Chair of IEEE PIMRC 2026. He was also recognized as the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University from 2021-2024.
